Mission

Liberate people by the grace of God from wounds, bad messages, negative self-talk, habits, and fear that have held them in bondage for too long. Utilizing God's word and relationship with Jesus Christ as the key to unlocking the shackles of people's lives.

Vision

Shepherding people to a life of liberty through a range of pastoral care.

Purpose

  • Embrace – provide ongoing care to every person seeking freedom (Hebrews 10: 24-25).

  • Encourage -- growth into the fullness for which we are called (Phil.1: 6)

  • Pray joyfully -- because of our partnership in the gospel (Phil 1: 3-5)

  • Serve others --  faithfully, administering God’s grace in various forms (1 Peter 1: 10)

Theology

  • The Chief Shepherd calls for us to “Take care of my sheep” John 21:16. Variations of this command are found in Acts 20:28 and I Peter 5:1-4. Moses provides the model in Exodus 18.

  • The Holy Spirit distributes pastoral gifts to individual Christ-followers as He determines. “We have different gifts…If a man’s gift is encouraging, let him encourage…if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully,” Romans 12:6-8. This theme is continued throughout           I Corinthians 12. See also I Peter 4:10.

  • “Pastors and teachers are to equip God’s people for the work of ministry..."                                II Timothy 2:2
